Your Mission: 

Responsible for leading overall delivery to established pharmaceutical client accounts including long-term strategic planning and day to day activity oversight to ensure that Acorn delivers high-quality solutions and services.


 

Your Competencies: 

  • Manage cross competency team responsible for one or more larger more complex projects with a focus on delivery the scope on time and with high quality standards 

  • Directly manage, (including hiring, onboarding, training, developing and performance management), of a team of five to ten reports that includes managers and consultants

  • Drive new business opportunities with activities that include identification, discovery, alignment of solutions and services, value articulation to client, project and resource planning, proposal generation and agreement review

  • Prepare and lead Executive Briefings with client key stakeholders, (including Vice President and Senior Vice President level executives), to review solution performance, discuss upcoming business events and industry trends

  • Engage with teams and clients to identify, communicate, and solve problems 

  • Effectively communicate complex concepts to internal teams, clients, and partners

  • Ensure adherence to and continual improvement of best practices including project delivery methodology and solution documentation

  • Make sound business decisions that take into consideration long-term team and client success 

  • Maintain high client satisfaction by providing proactive communication and issue management

  • Support the activities that will result in the expanded use of Solutions and Services

  • Develop client relationship as “trusted advisor” role through effective proactive project management, leadership and guidance especially focused on industry trends and best practices in data management, insights, and analytics 

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills

  • Excellent computer skills, public speaking, presentation and teaching skills

  • Proficient with MS Office suite, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellence with MS Project, project development and management

  • Self-motivated, able to work with remote workforce and able to assume responsibility in a professional manner

  • Prior management experience, strong project management skills and understanding of common financial metrics such as revenue, cost, margin, etc. and proficient in the use of all relevant internal systems

  • Understanding of SaaS software model, managed service or consulting experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Position is office based out of Acorn’s Boston headquarters and includes flexibility for split between office and remote work

  • Travel expectations up to 25% national / international

Your Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required and Masters’ degree preferred (analytic discipline a plus)

  • Over 10 years relevant experience in data management and/or software development environment

  • At least 5 years line management experience

  • Prior professional services leadership experience required
