We are seeking a senior leader with broad marketing expertise and cross-functional experience to expand our co-marketing strategy with our contract research organization (CRO) and alliances partners. Working directly with the business and marketing teams at partner accounts, you will define and execute global co-marketing plans. You will manage the distribution and oversight of market development funds (MDF) to our partners, ensuring it supports activities that drive impactful business outcomes through our partner channel. You will work closely with the global campaigns team to weave co-marketing activities into global campaign plans.
Establish relationships with senior marketing leadership team at CRO and alliances partners.
Work closely with partners to develop a strategic marketing plan supported by joint value proposition between the partner and Medidata.
Develop co-marketing activities that will drive growth and adoption of Medidata’s platform and solutions.
Collaborate with regional marketing teams to ensure activation of co-marketing activities.
Manage global MDF program including development of guidelines, review and approval of proposals and fund allocation and disbursement.
Define, track and report KPIs for co-marketing activities to internal and external stakeholders.
Lead event sponsorship sales for Medidata NEXT, our flagship event series spanning North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
Create partner branded marketing assets and collateral that incorporate Medidata’s value proposition for use by partner sales and business development organizations.
A well-rounded marketer versed in executing co-marketing activities with partners, with a track record of developing and managing multiple relationships and programs simultaneously
Knowledge of contract research organizations (CROs) and their business model and SOPs
Ability to see the bigger picture and how to weave joint marketing initiatives into the global marketing campaigns plan
Strong project management skills with experience gaining consensus and driving deliverables with individuals inside and outside the organization
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated capabilities in campaign measurement, analyzing and interpreting data
Superior communication skills with a comfort level of delivering material for both internal and external stakeholders. This includes building quick recaps as well as creating and presenting polished executive level presentations
Willing to travel to meet with partners (up to 20% travel)
Your Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Marketing, Communications, or related field
12+ years experience in demand/field marketing, brand or campaign management, or related function
Strong B2B marketing experience in driving business through the partner channel
Life sciences industry and/or clinical development area strongly preferred
