Your Mission: 

We are seeking a marketing leader with broad marketing expertise and cross-functional experience to drive brand strategy and management. You will be responsible for planning, developing, executing and measuring effective brand campaigns and initiatives. This role will focus on evolving and growing the Medidata brand and our life sciences value proposition by delivering effective storytelling to both internal and external customers that elevate our robust set of offerings. 

  • Develop the brand’s mission, strategy, and creative brand campaigns that tie to marketing priorities and support the brand’s vision.

  • Define the brand’s value proposition, creating differentiated messaging that resonates with prospective and current customers in our priority segments.

  • Conduct brand surveys and customer interviews and utilize market research studies to gather important brand data to use in the development of the brand value proposition, messaging, collateral, campaign, etc.

  • Develop compelling brand content, stories, and collateral, including a brand presentation, videos, banner ads, customer testimonials, white papers, etc. 

  • Work closely with product marketing on product launches, coordinating global marketing aspects.

  • Build highly collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders in marketing and across the business to ensure their business needs are captured in and met by the brand plans.

  • Create a standardized measurement plan, setting brand goals and KPIs and monitoring and analyzing performance. 

Your Competencies: 

  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to key stakeholders.

  • Adept at working in a fast-paced environment and successfully juggle multiple assignments at once with tight deadlines. 

  • Exceptional prioritization, problem-solving, and project management skills 

  • Superior communication skills with demonstrated ability to navigate a complex organization and generate buy-in for ideas and plans 

  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind

  • Self-starter and ability to build programs from scratch 


Your Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Marketing, Communications, or related field 

  • Requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience in brand or campaign management with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree;

  • Strong B2B marketing experience in planning and executing cross channel marketing campaigns preferred 

  • Life sciences industry and/or clinical development area preferred
