The newly-formed Client Engagement team at Medidata is growing! Our mission is to transform the way we connect with our clients. We do this by building communities of client ambassadors, sharing amazing win stories both internally and externally and reimagining executive briefings to deliver maximum impact. You will play a key role as well build and expand each of these pillars of our charter.
You will work closely with the Senior Director, Client Engagement to identify and activate client ambassadors and track progress over time. You will also track and detail the stories behind key wins and help disseminate them to appropriate internal and external audiences. And you will lead a database refresh to enable rapid response for reference requests and story inquiries.

Key Outcomes and Responsibilities
Maintain the Client Engagement source of truth: You ensure that the Client Engagement team is the source of truth for key wins and client ambassadors. You manage our two key databases on a weekly basis to ensure they are accurate and up-to-date. You will help advance the path to create visibility across the sales team via dashboards so that this information becomes a part of how the entire team works.
Report key performance indicators: You report out weekly on new key wins and new client ambassadors. New ambassadors include new clients that we’ve added to the database or existing ambassadors that took some action to represent the brand. Clients may have served as a reference, participated in an Ambassador/Voice of Customer meeting or presented their experience with Medidata externally among other activities.
Manage client community outreach: Interface with clients that participate in Data Management User Group events. This includes outreach to potential participants, scheduling meetings, coordinating with presenters and managing post-event surveys. Internally, you will also interface with Medidatians in product marketing, corporate marketing, product and sales to ensure the appropriate Medidata presence.
Collect and merchandize insights on key wins from the Sales Team - As we identify key sales wins, you will connect with account managers and teams to learn the context for each win and key insights from those wins. We will then determine the optimal channels by which to distribute the information to internal and external audiences. Some examples of existing channels include but are not limited to monthly Sales newsletter, periodic virtual meetings and quarterly commercial update.
Proficient at managing information in spreadsheets, reporting data and deriving insights
Organized and detail-oriented to make sense of large quantities of information
Demonstrated ability to manage virtual events
Ability to deliver a high level of professionalism in client interactions
Comfort with ambiguity and proven ability to create clarity
Ability to prioritize work from multiple sources, including ad-hoc or quick tasks and large-scale project work.
Deadline-driven, organized and able to multitask.
