Your Mission:

The People Analytics, Technology & Operations VP reports to the Chief People Officer and works closely with the People leadership team and the business to set the strategic direction and drive the execution for HR Operations, HR Analytics and HR Technology delivery globally. This role is responsible for the development, implementation and adoption of programs, processes and tools to drive scalability, efficiency and continuous improvement. 

In addition this position ensures technology needs of the People team are met, collaborating with leadership and key stakeholders as well as with IT partners in Dassault Systemes and across Medidata. They will offer technical expertise and insight to support informed decision-making and will identify opportunities for process optimization and manage the identification of technology solutions. Additionally, this person will serve as a liaison between management and IT to help to establish the strategic direction for enterprise systems.

You will collaborate cross-functionally to develop and manage resourcing plans, enabling our team to execute and innovate at speed. You will serve as a critical partner with the People Team and the People Leadership Team on projects and deliverables related to the execution of our People Team Strategy. Finally, you will serve as a Program Manager for key projects, own the Operational Review Process for the function, driving both the strategic vision and project execution forward.

Your Competencies:

HR Analytics:

  • Lead the development and delivery of the global people analytics strategy, providing analytics and insights to support the Medidata’s policies

  • Designing and delivering insights to understand and inform strategic decisions, policy adoption across markets, employee segmentation, working patterns and effectiveness

  • Creating a set of on-demand dashboards, providing insights into attrition, diversity, workforce planning

  • Provide advisory and consulting support to inform HR strategy and decision-making

  • Consult with HR teams (Learning, Talent Management, Total Rewards, D&I, TA) to offer bespoke advanced analytics solutions (e.g., predictive and prescriptive analytics projects to understanding the effectiveness of HR Processes, or how people factors impact business performance)

  • Build an analytics culture by communicating the value of analytics to the broader HR and executive communities and collaborating with other analytics functions across the organization  

HR Technology:

  • Oversee HR Technology team and ensure need of the People team function are met, collaborating with leadership and key stakeholders as well as with IT partners across the organization. 

  • Offer technical expertise and insight to support informed decision-making and will identify opportunities for process optimization and manage the identification of technology solutions. 

  • Serve as a liaison between management and IT to help to establish the strategic direction for enterprise systems.

  • Bring your vision and passion for HR systems and processes to a global scale

  • Possess deep knowledge of HR processes, advise on best practices for optimizing the use of HR tools, drive global HR process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility


  • Oversee all HR Operations activities including the delivery and support of benefits programs, talent acquisition coordination, onboarding and off-boarding of employees, leaves of absence, immigration and other employee life-cycle related programs and / or changes

  • Promote continuous improvement in the development of HR Operations through leadership, guidance and education

  • Establish ongoing reporting requirements and workforce analytics to drive data-based decision making

  • Coordinate HR interactions cross-functionally with other teams as necessary, including Payroll, Finance, IT, as well as other parts of the HR team

  • Drive the selection, implementation and upgrades of all HR tools and processes to ensure that we are maximizing our use of technology in streamlining people operations and scaling our business globally

  • Work with the team and partners to ensure HR compliance in all domestic and international jurisdictions


Your Education & Experience:

  • BS/BA or equivalent; technical undergraduate program of study with an MBA or advanced certifications strongly preferred. Focus area or program in Technology and/or Analytics a plus

  • Consulting mindset and experience leading major HR technology implementations

  • Strong project management and excellent communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet aggressive deadlines for multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience leading and coaching a team

  • Deadline-driven, organized and able to multitask

  • Comfort with ambiguity and proven ability to create clarity

  • Highest level of integrity and stellar judgement

  • Proven experience working with executive management
