Medidata London Engineering Team

You will be part of a c.120 strong SaaS Technology production environment.  In London we own the engineering for an enterprise scale software platform that supports thousands of clinical trials every day.  It's rare that ownership for this scale of cloud software engineering production exists outside the US.

Introduction to our Product & The Challenge:

Site Monitoring is a sub project of Medidata Rave CTMS - https://www.medidata.com/en/products/ctms.  The platform provides efficient monitoring of clinical studies with integrated workflows.  It improves the Contract Research Associate experience, aids pro-active decision making, and reduces risk and costs, to increase study performance, patient safety, and time to market for the drug/device.  Put another way, it’s saving lives.

Site Monitoring makes use of latest tools, tech stack and frameworks, with focus on a functional programming paradigm using Scala and related stack for API and backend development and Javascript with React/Redux for frontend development. Our continuous build and deploy infrastructure makes use of Docker, Travis, GoCD and AWS. We use Zipkin, Sumologic, New Relic and Google Analytics for instrumentation and logging.
