The Investor Relations Director is the “number two” in the Investor Relations department and will play a key role in supporting the strategic planning, business development, coordination and execution of communication for all investor relations activities, strategies and initiatives. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with analysts and investors, and thoughtful contribution to investor facing materials and communications.
Work with SVP of IR and management team to thoughtfully craft investor materials and messaging.
Become a trusted resource for certain sell-side analysts and investors.
Regularly review and provide insights on analyst reports and models.
Assist and support the preparation of quarterly earnings deliverables, including press release, conference call scripts, Q&A documents, and ad hoc financial analyses.
Contribute and evolve the investor story through investor-facing materials including presentations and IR website content.
Help prepare reports and presentations for senior management and the Board on stock performance, institutional ownership, market perception, peer tracking, and financial research.
Oversee the planning, scheduling and related logistics as needed for investor conferences, investor meetings, office visits and roadshows. Participate/attend these meetings/events periodically.
Develop and manage investor targeting lists as needed.
Research, create, build and maintain financial models as needed.
Monitor and track stock activity, industry and market trends, and provide analyses and insights.
Monitor, assess, and communicate competitive and market information within the organization.
Oversee communications documents and briefing information for investor events.
Your Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, with at least ten years of related work experience.
At least five years of experience in investor relations or related field within the investment community.
Knowledge of software and healthcare industries.
Understanding of SEC regulations impacting communications.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Outstanding presentation skills in public, group, and one-on-one forums.
Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative work style.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to quickly analyze and present strategic, corporate, and industry developments as they relate to MDSO.
Ability to interact, collaborate and communicate with cross-functional leadership teams.
Ability to engage in interesting dialog with investors, anticipates key issues, and frames discussion with company/brand message.
Strong presentation creation and delivery skills.
MBA in Finance
CPS or CFA
