What Will You Be Doing?

Our Government team has experienced significant growth and we are seeking a high-energy, sales-minded, strategic Business Development Representative to join our team. This critical role will be focused on building high-yield relationships with small and mid-size businesses to increase our access to government contracts.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Identify and drive new business opportunities through cold calling, email, state registrations, or marketing outreach.
  • Map out new territories and support organization charting efforts.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with C-suite level executives to maximize account penetration and increase revenue generated per account.
  • Conduct discussions with decision makers and key stakeholders within the Government sector.
  • Build relationships with clients across the country by establishing rapport via phone and in-person.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline and activity records using Salesforce.com.
  • Identify the resources and time needed to achieve client/project goals and deadlines.
  • Reach and exceed key performance indicators including leads generated, qualified conversations, new opportunities and active listings.
  • Develop skills necessary for promotion into a full, closing sales role.

  • Have experience working in a sales environment
  • Be positive and have an energetic attitude with exceptional communication skills
  • Be resilient and able to overcome objections
  • Have cold calling and/or sales training or coursework
