Description

Medicus Healthcare Solutions offers a Leadership and Recruiting/Sales Training Program designed to fast-track your advancement to our Recruiting Leadership team. Over the course of 2 months, you will receive training and on-the-job exposure to both our Recruiting and Team Lead positions to ensure a foundation for success.  
 
This role will report to a Director of Recruiting with the additional support of a Team Lead Mentor and Executive Sponsor. 
 
In this position, you will:

Cultivate Relationships with Healthcare Providers and Develop Your Pipeline

  • Conduct outreach including cold calling, emailing, and utilizing social media/online job boards/recruitment databases/state medical boards.
  • Recruit and build relationships with qualified medical providers to build your pipeline
  • Qualify, present, and recommend candidates that meet the needs of our clients by evaluating the best candidate fit per the requirements of the client, including candidate personality, work experience, skillset, references, and other applicable information. 
  • Negotiate candidate rates, travel arrangements, shifts to be worked, and other items affecting contracting and the placement of the candidate

 Develop your Leadership Skills, including:

  • Developing and managing your sales pipeline
  • Conducting pipeline reviews with your team
  • Creating a call plan strategy
  • Managing and resolving escalation issues
  • Leading effective one-on-one meetings
  • Setting and tracking team goals
  • Creating and implementing development plans for your employees
  • Physician Recruiter Interview Observation

Gain support to enhance your leadership skills through:

  • Mentorship from a Team Lead of Recruiting
  • Sponsorship by an Executive Leader (Vice President or Director)
  • Training from our Corporate Trainers
  • Participation in a monthly Team Lead roundtable
  • Rising Leaders Program
Here's what we look for:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in a sales or recruiting position, or 1+ year of experience within leadership through work experiences, captain/president of a team or extra-curricular organization, or mentoring/coaching opportunities.
  • Player-Coach mentality, passionate about the opportunity to coach and develop others to achieve team performance goals.
  • Prior experience working in a team-oriented environment including work, internships, extracurricular activities, etc.
  • Desire to increase earnings based on your team’s performance.
