Reporting into the Senior Vice President of Delivery, the Manager of Healthcare Projects will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of project managers to ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects within scope, quality, and timeline. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills to coordinate efforts, resolve issues, and drive project success.

In this role, you will: 

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of project managers to achieve client and organizational goals
  • Management and communication of project milestones and performance to key stakeholders including identification and resolution of project challenges
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement professional development plans for team members
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and client expectations
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes
  • Evaluate and enhance project management processes, tools, and techniques to drive continuous improvement
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success

  • Possesses strong communication skills, inclusive of presenting, leading meetings, and reporting to executive leadership
  • Able to develop a strategy to achieve results; understands project and organizational dependencies
  • Demonstrates team organization and governance; able to build relationships and resolve conflict
  • Self-directed and takes initiative; able to effect change and monitor progress
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Travel is required (training of new project managers and/or large scale projects); 1 trip per quarter
