Manager of Healthcare Projects
Description
Reporting into the Senior Vice President of Delivery, the Manager of Healthcare Projects will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of project managers to ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects within scope, quality, and timeline. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills to coordinate efforts, resolve issues, and drive project success.
In this role, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of project managers to achieve client and organizational goals
- Management and communication of project milestones and performance to key stakeholders including identification and resolution of project challenges
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement professional development plans for team members
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and client expectations
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes
- Evaluate and enhance project management processes, tools, and techniques to drive continuous improvement
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success

- Possesses strong communication skills, inclusive of presenting, leading meetings, and reporting to executive leadership
- Able to develop a strategy to achieve results; understands project and organizational dependencies
- Demonstrates team organization and governance; able to build relationships and resolve conflict
- Self-directed and takes initiative; able to effect change and monitor progress
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Travel is required (training of new project managers and/or large scale projects); 1 trip per quarter
