The Opportunity:

The Support Desk Analyst will play a key role in helping support the core operations of Medicus. Medicus utilizes a myriad of technologies to achieve our business goals which this candidate will be instrumental in administering daily. The role will play an important part of a broader team in helping Medicus with its digital transformation with a strong focus on supporting the day-to-day IT operational needs of the organization.  

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, manage and support solutions for IT infrastructure, operations and security. 
  • Assist with daily operational needs of our technologies, consisting of but not limited to; Bullhorn, Salesforce, RingCentral and Webex.
  • Manage firm information security by administering authentication methods, monitoring access control logs and enforcing firm IT security practices.
  • Support a range of core network, server and cloud based services including: Active Directory, DNS and DHCP administration, Support Printer administration.
  • Support overall transition from private cloud to public cloud IT operating model.
  • Assist the Managed Help Desk with: Ticket escalations, Hands-on troubleshooting tasks,  Knowledge transfer, Leveraging reports and statistics to help target areas of focus.
  • Application & Hardware rollouts and changes.
  • Documentation, change logging, systems auditing and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT systems.
  • Monitor and respond to system & service outages and security issues, including: AntiVirus, Perimeter Security, Web Filtering, and Email Security.
  • Support and maintenance of collaboration tools such as WebEx Teams.
  • VOIP management and administration.
  • Administration of key SaaS applications related to onboarding / offboarding and business process improvements.
  • Administer changes to networking platform.
  • Coordination with IT vendor for system builds and deployments.
  • Evaluation and testing of new technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related studies
  • Expertise in the use and troubleshooting of Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows Server
  • Expertise in the use and support of Office 365, SharePoint, and Azure AD
  • Experience with networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Experience with information security platforms and controls
  • 2+ years prior experience
  • Passion for customer service and providing high quality support
  • Team oriented, strong interpersonal skills.
