The Opportunity:

The Business Intelligence Developer is an instrumental role in the digital transformation of Medicus.  Reporting to the Director of Business Systems, the Business Intelligence Developer is a highly visible role and helps empower leaders to make data-driven decisions in real time with better analytics through the use of data visualizations and reporting tools.  The ideal candidate is a self-starter, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

*This position is located at our HQ office in Windham, NH.  There is no relocation assistance available for this role*

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Participate in the analysis, design, development, troubleshooting and support of the enterprise reporting and analytics platform
  • Design, construct, test and implement reporting, visualization, and dashboard processes that present reporting at summary level with functionality to drill down into detail
  • Develop BI solutions using SQL, ETL scripting, business intelligence tools, database programming and reporting tools on the Microsoft BI Stack
  • Integrate with diverse source systems (including but not limited to: Salesforce, Jobvite, ShoreTel, Pardot, LinkedIn, Office 365)
  • Work with DevOps team and participate in testing of all database-related changes and application updates
  • Responsible for the day to day database development/administrative tasks which include the development of queries, views, and other database schema objects
  • Lead role in establishing data management best practices to ensure data accuracy and quality
  • Maintain data model schema, heirarcy within datawarehouse, and reporting systems

Here’s what we look for:

  • 5+ years of experience with Moden BI / Data Vizulization Tools (PowerBI, Tablaeu, etc.) , SQL Server Server and related report/analytics development capabilities
  • Corporate Performance Management solution experience (i.e. TM1, Solver BI360e, etc.)
  • Strong T-SQL experience as it relates to writing complex queries, functions, and views
  • SQL Server/Azure SQL DB knowledge and optimization experience
  • General experience general integration tools (i.e. MuleSoft, Informatica, Jitterbit, etc.)
  • Prior experience working with business to translate needs into requirements and solutions and prioritize and execute tasks in a high-growth environment 
  • Strong problem solving and metadata skills
  • Experience with software development lifecycle
  • SalesForce or other CRM/enterprise application experience desired 
  • BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or another quantitatively focused discipline
