The Opportunity:
The growth of Medicus is dependent upon bringing in great employees and providing them the tools, resources, and experiences to help them become successful.
The Corporate Trainer will be responsible for facilitating training for our employees, with an initial focus on the build out and standardization of programs for our business partner roles to ensure the onboarding experience is most effective. Due to the interactive nature of the business partner functions, this role will also have a hand in supporting recruiter training with the support of the lead recruiter trainer.
As a Corporate Trainer, you will help employees cultivate their relationships, skills and knowledge to maximize performance in their role.
Responsibilities:
- In partnership with HR, TA and leadership, determine training needs and focus areas to increase employee knowledge base and development.
- Develop, schedule and manage assigned training programs (identification of learning goals, content creation, coordination with subject matter experts, deliver training sessions and workshops).
- In partnership with Leadership, help to develop and support individual training plans based on employee progression and feedback (call coaching sessions, role-plays, trainings, call shadowing)
- Project Management and delivery of corporate training programs to include new hire training (key focus on business partner roles), progressive tenure-based skills training, management development training, etc.
- Communicate key focus areas of employees in training (strengths/development opportunities) to Leadership.
- Prepare educational materials, reference sheets, video training sessions, etc.
- LMS Administration including identification and implementation of new functionality to increase efficiency.
- Identify, promote, and drive user interest in e-learning courses in Saba LMS to increase employee development and performance
- Scheduling, updating and maintaining quarterly business partner sessions for new hires.
- Collaborating with lead recruiter trainer to support call hours on weeks 2 and 3 of Sale Institute training.
Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree or relevant experience
- Staffing and Recruiting and/or Corporate Trainer experience.
- Ability to quickly build rapport with people via a collaborative approach
- Passionate about coaching and developing others
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Office (esp. PowerPoint); prior experience with e-learning software is a plus.
