ROLE OUTLINE
The Performance Director oversees and coordinates the delivery across a team of biddable experts. You will manage all operations, from ensuring quality implementation planning to improving operational efficiency & delivery, to acting as a senior consultant to clients for their activation and performance management.
This role includes taking accountability for talent management, including reviews, training, coaching, performance management, and recruitment.
You will work closely with other directors to support national initiatives designed to improve key indicators.

WHAT YOU SHOULD SPEND YOUR TIME DOING
People – 40% of your time
  • Oversee team workflow, dealing with issues as they arise to a satisfactory resolution
  • Ensure your team is adequately trained, resourced, motivated, and engaged to deliver on campaign requirements
  • Conduct regular 1-2-1s with your team, providing leadership and modelling our behaviours at all times

 

 
Product – 30% of your time
  • Help define and deliver best practice, supervising your team's output and intervening where necessary
  • Contribute to product development and direction, leveraging vendors and partners to achieve this
  • Anticipate future challenges, trends, and changes to both your clients and our industry, proactively forming a view of strategies to mitigate risk and create opportunity
Client – 15% of your time
  • Lead key client relationships as it relates to implementation planning & buying, ensuring team output is to the required standard
  • Be the voice of GroupM Nexus initiatives with your teams and your clients, driving best practice and innovation.
  • Navigate the complex media, technology, and data landscape, providing counsel and support to both your team and clients
  • Elevates both team and client thinking through expert opinion and leadership, including tackling sensitive conversations with confidence
Commercial – 15% of your time
  • Responsible for the overall delivery of client investment, with flawless accuracy across all aspects
  • Identify commercial opportunities with the ability to make a compelling case for their inclusion
  • Provide robust and accurate internal forecasting, both across client investment and for required resources to manage campaign delivery
