Associate Director, Global Investment (Accountability)

Overview:

We are looking for an Associate Director of Global Investment to join our team, responsible for assisting in leading and managing investment/buying activities.

 

Your Impact:

Utilizing your analytical and negotiation skills, you will provide input for spending across major sites and publishers while monitoring client budgets and adherence to KPIs. More specifically, you’ll

  • Create and manage investment strategies and activities across digital touch points, including video, display, paid social media, mobile, email, search, programmatic and integrated deals
  • Continuously provide digital media buying insights
  • Ensure all investments are aligned with GroupM standards
  • Own vendor relations for given clients
  • Supervise the RFP process and approve vendor RFP selection, scoring model, partner selection, and allocations
  • Lead key initiatives, programs/partnerships, negotiations, and vendor rate cards
  • Collaborate with Buy Enablement, Managers, and Senior Associates for savings and audits
  • Prepare bid management strategy with Social, Search & Programmatic
  • Manage issue resolution and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain strong media and technology vendor relationship and act as a resource for industry data and trends, first looks, and innovations
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications; or equivalent professional work experience
  • 6+ years of previous digital planning experience
  • Experience with CPG and/or e-commerce focused accounts
  • Working knowledge of interactive research tools such as ComScore, Media Metrix, and Nielsen
  • Technical proficiency with media systems, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
