Commerce Manager, Analytics

OVERVIEW OF ROLE: 

The Commerce Analytics Manager is part of a larger team whose focus is on delivering insights-based analysis and optimization reporting for a global advertiser. The Manager will own the development and delivery of client deliverables. This team will advance the sophistication of our measurement, reporting, and insights delivery while helping to lead a cross-functional team of data professionals.   

 

The successful candidate will have experience in media and marketing analytics. This role is focused on commerce, so previous experience in that area is highly desirable.    

 

 Your Impact: 

 

  • Lead the development and delivery of client presentations, working across internal and external teams.  
  • Provide on-going analytical support utilizing media performance across all commerce tactics and relevant transactional data to find actionable insight. 
  • Present to clients and prospective clients on results of current projects as well as new business 
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction 
  • Work in an integrated fashion with client marketing insight, media, and analytics teams 

 

Your Knowledge & Abilities: 

  • Comprehensive understanding of metrics: Media (e.g. impression, CPV, ROAS etc.), Brand measurement studies, Quantitative business measures (LTV, ROI, Effectiveness, etc.) 
  • A proven track record of dealing directly with clients is required. 
  • Able to work in a team environment 
  • Excellent communications skills when addressing both research and non-research audiences   

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 3-5 years practical experience in media/marketing measurement and optimization.  
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal), collaboration and delegation skills and client facing experience 
  • Experience with Brand, and/or Performance measurement highly desirable.  
  • Understanding of and experience using analytical and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations 
  • Bachelor’s degree required
