Manager, Media Operations



This role will act as the liaison between Clients, Planning, Investment, Analytics, shared resources and agency Operations. You will ensure that the overall day to day client objectives are met and are effectively communicated amongst the various teams working on a particular business. This role will focus on development, management and application of process and systems.



  • Work closely with the main agency client lead to deliver all client operational  and reporting requirements
  • Responsible for setting client reporting templates such as budget roll-ups, billing, PO tracking, competitive, MediaTools, etc.
  • Monitor current client needs to ensure timely reporting and reconciliation
  • Work with Media teams on monthly media actualizations and reconciliations
  • Ensure that each department (planning, buying, etc.) is streamlined to effectively meet objectives
  • Responsible for the evaluation of quarterly, actual, and on-going projections
  • Interact on a daily basis with relevant internal and external stakeholders

Understands team processes well enough to identify and resolve discrepancies in others’ work

 Skills & Behaviors:

  • Strong communication and analytic skills
  • Proficiency with Excel skills, including mandatory knowledge of pivot tables and formulas (IF, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, etc.)
  • Willingness to expand technical skills with team guidance (in-house software, Tableau, basic SQL/VBA/Power Automate, etc.)
  • Proficiency with DDS(MediaOcean) and MediaTools preferred
  • Ability to translate data into well-articulated ideas
  • Strong numbers focus, with ability to maintain consistency and accuracy when processing substantial datasets with multiple owners
  • Thorough understanding of the fundamentals of Media Planning and Strategy, Media Buying, Account Management, and the agency environment
  • Capacity to anticipate the client needs

 Qualifications & Other Relevant Information: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years related experience
