Senior Analyst, Analytics


About the Role:

The Senior Analyst is expected to demonstrate hands-on skills in media analytics and reporting. We value problem solving, the ability to develop & analyze business cases, research skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, a client focus, and the ability to be truly detail-orientated in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to operate independently with limited guidance and direction, and thrives on growth, learning, and building.


Your Impact:

  • Provide on-going analytical support utilizing data management, technology to address client issues regarding advertising, media, and new products
  • Act as primary day-to-day contact on insights and analytics to digital and traditional media managers and clients
  • Analyze data and generate graphics and insights for use in client presentations
  • Work with planning and execution teams to build comprehensive stories to share with the client
  • Assist in translating campaign goals into survey-based and walled garden measurement plans
  • Manage vendor relationships, including questions, scoping, timelines
  • Manage the retrieving, compiling, and formatting of datasets
  • Utilize syndicated research tools and marketing platforms to retrieve various types of data (macroeconomic, marketing, business, etc.)
  • Manage project timelines and deliverable schedules and share concerns and issues with project managers and directors
  • Manage and mentor analysts on the projects to ensure excellence and professional development


Your Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
  • Understanding of industry research and/or marketing platform sources such as Google ADH, Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.
  • Exposure to survey-based measurement techniques (namely Brand and Conversion Lift studies)
  • Comprehensive understanding of metrics:  Media (e.g. buying models, CPV, VCR, GRP), Measurement analytics, Quantitative business measures (LTV, NPV, ROI, Churn, etc.), Statistics (Correlations, sample sizing, etc.)
  • Strong Excel (and/or Google Sheets) skills
  • Knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentation
  • Experience in managing and mentoring team members
  • Experience with SQL, BigQuery, Tableau, PowerBI all a plus
  • Exposure to modeling approaches such as Marketing Mix, MTA (Multi-touch-attribution), Test/Control, factor analysis) a plus


Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. An MBA, MS degree in Statistics, Economics, or Applied Math is a plus
  • 3+ years related work experience
