Role Summary & Impact

EssenceMediacom is seeking a Manager to join our growing Analytics & Insights team, reporting into the Analytics Director. The team focuses on media effectiveness measurement, campaign analysis and client communication to help make brands become more valuable to the world.
 
You will be working with leading advertisers, including Airbnb, to harness their data and improve the performance of their campaigns, developing and deploying media measurement solutions. Communication with client stakeholders and effective management of assigned tasks is critical in this role.
 
We have invested in giving you the tools to make you as successful as possible, including training/development, full access to Google Cloud Platform and a wider global community of analysts and data scientists.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for designing and implementing media campaign measurement including Brand Lift Studies, Conversion Lift Studies & Matched Market Testing
  • You will deliver actionable insights that inform future campaigns and show the clients how to improve effectiveness
  • You will design and implement robust experiments with a view to increase campaign performance
  • Collaborate proactively with the wider client team and other teams within EssenceMediacom, to implement measurement & analytics
  • Collate and present incrementality results from Meta, Google and other media channels to clients
  • Evaluate the statistical robustness of measurement solutions and iterate on them as needed to optimize performance and feasibility
Requirements
  • You will be highly numerate: able to confidently interpret data and apply statistical tests to draw robust conclusions. Holding a degree(s) in a quantitative field: Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Physical Science or Computer Science
  • Knowledge of applying measurement to media campaigns through Meta/Google
  • 3-4 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field
  • Well developed problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Strong understanding of statistics including hypothesis testing, descriptive statistics and distribution theory
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Able to follow and give guidance as part of a cross-functional team, using project management tools such as Jira/Trello
  • Demonstrable experience at presenting data in a visually engaging and insightful manner
  • Experience in training, mentorship and/or management, ability to display empathy in difficult situations and lead by example
  • Familiarity with GCP, BigQuery, SQL and/or Python

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
