About the Role:  

The Global Ad Ops Specialist is responsible for helping manage a global ad server & data orchestration strategy by delivering key functions in tracking, site tagging, reporting and taxonomies. The ad ops specialist will not traffic campaigns but support the setup and implementation of media tracking and analytics.

 

About the Team: 

The Global MAD Technologies team at MediaCom provides client leadership and technical expertise for Ad Tech, Marketing Tech and Data platforms. By providing client facing solutions and then implementing for both regional and global teams, Global Ad Tech supports client and agency stakeholders to enabling advanced marketing capabilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the first point of technical coverage as needed; global technical lead for Tag Management submissions and tag deployments.
  • Support training of regional ad operations staff
  • Ensure the team maintains low error rates, traffics efficiently, and proactively thinks about potential roadblocks to meet campaign performance goals
  • Understand ad trafficking in Google Campaign Manager
  • Work directly with publishers to collect the proper implementation of ad tags
  • Work cross functionally with other partner departments as necessary including planning, analytics, strategy, and performance marketing
  • Communicate to technical stakeholders on expectations, deliverables, and timing with clear written communications

 

Skills

  • At least 3+ years of experience in digital, analytics or ad tech experience – ideally in an ad operations role or similar.
  • An understanding of front-end web technologies used by ad tech (familiarity with HTML & JS, coding HTML & JS is not required).
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e. g. JIRA) and providing written documentation.
  • Have a passion to learn new & complex technologies and then clearly communicate to both technical and non-technical stakeholders alike. 
  • Ability to empathize and help overcome technical challenges and even misunderstandings.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
