Systems Tech are MediaCom’s Data and Technology experts transforming MediaCom into the agency of the future. Technology is a key enabler for MediaCom, helping reduce costs and create new products that drive revenue and business growth. Systems Tech are a global team of technology consultants, project managers, business analysts, data engineers, software engineers and data visualisation experts delivering technology solutions with the business.

Systems Tech provide technology expertise and project management to create solutions for MediaCom. The team’s responsibilities range from automating a small-scale data transformation process, to save time for our Client teams, to building large scale strategic platform and product implementations for media planning optimisation to creative analytics to ecommerce audit.
The Systems Tech team drive data platform innovation to create exceptional global, regional and local market dashboards to enable our staff and our Clients to have the data needed to make the right decisions at the right time.
The team also work in partnership with GroupM and WPP, participating in and leading steering groups centred around the technology strategy to provide the MediaCom voice to steer the new Planning, Audience, Activation and Reporting platforms planned for 2022 and the future.
Systems Tech’s data and technology products and solutions are key to delivering MediaCom’s ‘Seeing The Bigger Picture’ vision, helping to win pitches and grow client scope. We deliver specialist media technology products and data led services across a range of areas, from products that benefit Clients (for example data reporting and dashboards, media activation optimisation, media planning or insights applications) to internal business solutions (such as internal websites and automation). This role is an integral part of the development of our data reporting solutions and data products in Systems Tech.
We’re looking to establish a data automation squad within the Systems Tech organisation, specifically focussing on combining data expertise and automated processes to build products that increase operational efficiency, speed up data collection and improve the volume and quality of insights we are able to glean from datasets. The role of Business Analyst will sit in this squad but report centrally to the broader Systems Tech Business Analysis function. Working with colleagues inside and outside of the Automation Squad, you will bring your expertise to help identify business opportunities for data automation and consult throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that the squad can maximise the impact it has through the products it creates.
You will consult on data and technology projects, providing guidance on data strategy and insights and identifying use cases and requirements for data-centric products. The role will work in close collaboration, on a global level, with internal client team leadership, internal client teams and client sponsors to establish clear expectations on the functionality and use of the data and product from a Client and business perspective.
Initially you’ll work closely with the Head of Business Analysis to clearly define the role, responsibilities and general workflow of the BA role within the squad. You’ll also work in collaboration with other areas of Systems Tech such as Project Management and Development teams in order to define business rules, logic and performance optimisation of the existing products. You’ll provide expertise on best practise data processes, measurement frameworks and defining the data needed for effective measurement for reporting Global Clients, setting tagging strategy and data usage requirements.
The role requires business acumen and a commercial mindset giving the ability to understand our agency and our Clients’ businesses. Using this skillset, you will help to drive requirements for data reporting and data products ensuring these products reflect business needs and provide the right business outcomes. As such, contextual understanding of the core media planning and buying agency services would be of benefit.
