Account Director, Partnership Production – Creative Systems


Overview of role


We are looking for a Partnerships Account Director to join the Production team in Creative Systems (Mediacom London). We are a team of Partnerships specialists, managing and overseeing the production and execution of content campaigns across the agency for both UK and Worldwide. We work across many different clients and media owners on some of the most exciting and high-profile content campaigns in the industry.


Whilst this job will focus predominantly on Partnership Production it does off the opportunity to learn and develop into other areas of content production including, Branded Entertainment and original content.

Measures of success



 In three months, you would have:


  • Managed several medium to large scale campaigns from start to finish and have established strong internal and external relationships as a senior member of the partnerships team, being recognised as a ‘go to’ specialist
  • Ensure your direct report is performing to a high standard across all campaigns and be thinking about their immediate development.
  • Be making strong recommendations & challenging briefs around the role of partnerships and their fit within the wider media plan
  • Commercial awareness – developing a greater understanding of the commercial side of the Creative Systems department
  • Becoming a senior voice within the team and leading by example

In six months, you would have:


  • Taken ownership of multiple projects and responsibility of your own workload and for direct report(s)
  • Be regularly receiving positive feedback from clients and peers alike
  • Understand and implement Mediacom’s core values and ‘Seeing the Bigger Picture’ in all aspects of the role (whether that be with colleagues, clients, or the wider industry)
  • Be viewed as a partnership ‘expert’ within client and internal teams



Responsibilities of the role


  • Delivery of Media Partnership projects from kick off to presenting post campaign results.
  • Adding value to the delivery process, including spotting opportunities for clients to drive additional value, giving opinions on content and excellent production management skills.
  • Working across multi-discipline partnerships with a wide range of media partners – including digital, print, AV and Audio (radio/podcasts)
  • Working closely with the Snr AD to ensure resource is managed effectively across the team
  • Good, detailed, finance management – to ensure that all PO’s are received, and booking are made in a timely manner
  • Process compliance – ensuring that all commercial and legal processes are followed
  • Potential line management (tbc)
  • Knowledge sharing and support - helping develop junior team members


What you will need


  • Significant experience as a Manager within a media agency or media owner and/or with digital planning / buying experience
  • Significant understanding & knowledge of content and partnerships
  • Previous experience activating media partnerships and production projects
  • Be hyper-organised & have good project management skills
  • Strong people skills (including people management) and very confident with clients
  • Confident communicator to include active participation in client meetings & delivering internal presentations
  • Confident in managing multiple stakeholder relationships
  • Strong attention to detail & good with numbers
  • Able to multi-task and handle multiple projects at one time
  • Enthusiastic, proactive & creative
  • Team player but also be able to work independently
  • Previous experience in working well under pressure & working to deadlines
  • Commercial awareness – deeper knowledge of all media channels and how these impact business performance
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and supporting workload of junior team members
