Overview

LBG comprises some of the leading high street banking brands including Lloyds Bank, Halifax, Bank of Scotland and Scottish Widows. You will be working alongside a Head of Conversion and Conversion Strategist and together will be the primary points of contact for the senior client conversion team.  You will also work closely with colleagues across our specialisms and your clients to build on data-informed insights and develop challenging media strategies for their products.

 

Key requirements

  • Passion for planning and proven experience building strong audience and data centric conversion strategies in response to client briefs

 

  • Very strong working knowledge of the full media landscape, ability to discuss and defend the role of different media and their collective contributions with clients.

 

  • Excellent team leadership and people management skills

 

  • Brilliant communication skills and ability to build and lead highly collaborative client and colleague relationships

 

  • Excellent written and presentation skills

 

  • Highly numeric and able to decipher trends / challenges from the clients’ customer data

 

  • Ability to extract and filter relevant insights/ research to support planning decisions

 

Responsibilities

  • Proactively embrace digital innovation and ensure award winning thinking by working with other client teams across the agency

 

  • Client lead, responsible for building constructive working relationships and consolidating the agencies position as a strategic partner

 

  • Co-ownership of the conversion product strategies, ensuring all activity is data driven, audience first and integrated with the client’s owned and brand activity

 

  • Challenge briefs, encourage best practice and ensure campaigns align to the overarching product and channel strategies

 

  • Build strategic partnerships for the client across the agency to continuously drive them forward in the digital capability

 

  • Build strong relationships with media owners, challenging them to understand the client’s business problems and innovate to solve them

 

 

 

  • Work closely with a team of specialists (Data & Insight, Strategy, Activation and Brand Comms) to clearly translate a central comms platform into an actionable plan

 

  • Ownership of PO management for all conversion budgets including delivery of monthly PO tracker

 

  • Ownership for accurate and timely delivery of conversion status sheets

 

  • Management of conversion planning manager and full responsibility for their training and development

 

  • Lead junior members of the wider conversion team, delegating effectively to ensure high quality and consistent work is delivered on time

 

  • Play an active role in the leadership of the department, attending meetings and taking ownership of a workstream to allow development of the team and the product

 

  • Ensuring client presentations are accurate, insightful and error free

 

  • Ensuring all client deadlines are adhered to

 

  • Own your career path alongside Head of Conversion, proactively managing objectives and signing up for relevant industry training and events

 

  • Supporting Head of Conversion to drive year on year improvements in client review scores
