Senior Digital Account Director - Birmingham

The Role

The role will focus on being the day to day digital lead on a number of clients, including Butlin’s and Wacoal Europe’s range of lingerie brands, as well as providing digital advice and support across the clients in your team.

You will work closely with your Business Director (and other senior team) and Digital Leads in specialist teams across PPC, SEO, Display, Social, eCommerce, Data and tech to strategise, drive innovation, challenge and educate and deliver upon your client’s business objectives.

The Senior Digital Account Director needs to have a strong understanding of all digital channels and the role these can play in overall comms solution.

Who are you?

  • Strong knowledge across the broad spectrum of digital channels (PPC, SEO, Display, Paid Social, eCommerce, Data and tech) and strategies, strong experience of digital performance focused approaches are a must
  • Strong knowledge of the adtech world, particularly Google products such as SA360 & DV360, future trends and implications to clients and agency
  • Good understanding of measurement approaches for digital activity and comfortable guiding clients through how they should be measuring activity
  • Analytical thinker who naturally gets into detailed data to understand what is driving or holding back performance, and be able simply and effectively communicate this to clients
  • Comfortable communicating with senior clients and ability to build influence them. Calm under pressure.
  • Ability to flex approach and explain complexity to digital natives as well as non-digital client stakeholders and make them comfortable with our ideas and execution
  • Comfortable in reaching out and build strong relationships with internal digital practitioners across the group
  • Adept at working with multiple teams to develop and deliver effective solutions for clients
  • Happy to challenge the status quo - seeking innovative and new ways to deal with challenges and finds creative solutions
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritise key work streams.
  • Must possess strong written, presentation, analytical, quantitative, and verbal skills and have strong organizational, interpersonal skills
  • Experience of managing people and nurturing talent
