AV (TV) Media Planner Buyer - Sky


Objectives of the Role
The Broadcast Planner Buyer is the backbone of the Broadcast Marketplace team; responsible for buying campaigns across a multitude of clients and platforms.

Every Marketplace Planner Buyer understands the role that their campaign is serving and is expected to help deliver a post campaign PCA that demonstrates the affect it had on the overall system and ultimate outcome. The Broadcast team are specifically responsible for TV, VOD, Cinema and Radio and are looking for someone with experience in this field. 

With support from a Broadcast Executive, you will ensure that campaigns are delivered to the agreed criteria and in line with audit requirements. The Broadcast Buyer must have a strong ability to negotiate and fight the market for the best airtime possible.

• Setting up campaigns in Media Explorer
• Setting up frontsheets and checking spends
• Buying TV campaigns – including tracking value, quality criteria and negotiating
• VOD buying, reconciliation and tracking

• Natural drive to make money
• Strong media owner relationships
• Attention to detail
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Commercially astute
