Research Assistant - Business Science
Objectives of Business Intelligence:
Business Intelligence is MediaCom North’s dedicated analytics team. Each member of the team should see themselves as an ‘analytical problem solver’, pulling insight from data at all stages of the consumer’s purchase journey. The aim of bringing together one Business Intelligence department is to give us greater scope when trying to solve client problems with data and analysis.
The primary focus of the team is measuring the effectiveness of our clients’ marketing activity via brand tracking and creative testing. Through this, the team should identify actionable recommendations to improve future planning, which should be fed into the Comms Planning and Investment teams, as well as directly to clients. The team is very client facing, so building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is key.
Objective of Role:
The research assistant is responsible for supporting the greater team with our core deliverable – brand tracking. As such, the person in this position will work with the research manager and research executives to further develop our quantitative research methods. Basic tasks include scripting questionnaires (formatting them as online surveys), monitoring surveys while in field, cleaning data, updating existing results, and helping research executives prepare presentations.
