About the Role

Reporting to the EMEA Client Business Director working on Google.

We are looking for a Client Manager with media planning experience, who is ready to start a new adventure in our Client Services team working on the Google as part of the Media Futures Group.

We are looking for a partner to become a trusted advisor who thinks differently about marketing and is passionate about their respective businesses. The successful candidate will be working alongside the Client Directors to foster strong client relationships and provide daily stewardship to the wider account team. Your previous experience will be key to interrogating client briefs and working closely with the planning team to structure effective responses that set the bar high.

The role requires collaboration with many stakeholders across many levels, in a highly matrixed organization.  In this capacity the successful candidate must be able to manage and balance many projects across regional and local clients, as well as internal teams. The ideal candidate has the ability to build strong relationships and win trust internally and externally.  Google is a fast-moving client account and the person in this role must be able to work in an ever-changing, dynamic environment with a passionate, agile mindset.

Key responsibilities -

  • Key day to day client contact and local markets, with a specific focus on market compliance, regional integration and governance of deliverables.
  • Point-person across all stages of Regional campaign development.
  • Ensure practice experts (Planning/Strategy/Digital) are brought in to sense-check work where relevant.
  • Coordinate local market competitive reports.
  • Drive the production of high-quality deliverables and ensuring financial, operational & campaign development methods are followed.

  • Good analytical thinker, problem solver
  • Previous media planning experience (ideally in a market or regional/global team)
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to effectively manage comms with teams and clients
  • Organised and structured, with strong attention to detail; an effective, efficient working style
  • Culturally agile to work with diverse range of skills and backgrounds around the region
  • Strong written and verbal Business English skills are required, other languages would be ideal
