Publishing, Digital & Content Account Director

 

Overview of role

 

This role is within the implementational team of BG3 operating as a specialist across publishing and digital display planning and buying as well as the development and delivery of cross-platform content partnerships across all the clients in the group.

Working across the Tesco and Richemont accounts predominantly, you will use your exceptional implementational planning and buying ability to own the publishing and digital display output on your patch of clients.  With a creative sensibility and a strong understanding of the role all channels play in a campaign system you will run content projects working closely with Comms Planning, media owners and Creative Systems production management. 

 

 

Reporting of the role

 

This role reports into the Implementational Director in the team.

Measures of success

 

In three months, you would have:

  • Taken responsibility for the day to day Publishing planning and buying of one of Richemont’s key Maisons
  • Taken responsibility for the digital planning and buying and campaign management of publisher site display for one of Richemont’s key Maisons
  • Grown understanding of the process of conception, evaluation, recommendation and activation of content partnerships on Tesco including the role for Creative Systems
  • Started to build a trusted relationship with your clients through demonstration of your expertise, clear communication and thoroughness
  • Established good working relationships with media owner partners for efficient briefing, planning and generation of content ideas

In six months, you would have:

  • Owned a response to brief recommendation to a client for a Published Brand (i.e. print and digital) campaign and/or a multi-channel content partnership with a media owner demonstrating implementational rigour and a solid understanding of digital measurement and potential optimisation
  • Seen a content partnership project through to launch and management of delivery in collaboration with Creative Systems production management
  • Taken responsibility of PCA delivery for your publishing and digital display campaigns

In 12 months, you would have:

  • Started training up other specialists in the group on best practice content partnership process and implementation
  • Built relationships with the leading media brands (across all channels) best placed to deliver big, innovative content solutions for our clients

 

Responsibilities of the role

 

  • Ownership of your print, digital display plans and content partnership plans.
  • Buying and processing (Ops) of your print bookings via Prisma.
  • Collaboration with internal Ops team to admin the digital elements of plans.
  • Campaign management, tracking and reporting.
  • PCA delivery.
  • Close collaboration with media owners to propose and deliver content partnership solutions.
  • Knowledge of media partner products and innovations
  • Championing of best-practise process for the planning and buying of publishing, digital display and cross-channel content campaigns
