Universal Pictures is an exciting, dynamic and rewarding account to work on, and as cinemas reopen we are working hand in hand with the clients to welcome people back to the movies. We have great films such as Bond, Jurassic World, Fast and Furious 9 and Sing 2 to release this year to name a few, and the agency team are and integral


The Role


The International Account Director is the lynchpin of the account and is the liaison between the central client and the local agency network. This exciting and dynamic role requires a strong player with experience on a fast-paced client where agility as well as strategic thinking are highly regarded. This role will work alongside a small senior team of strategy and digital leads to communicate and deploy central initiatives to the agency network.

 Key Requirements


  • Thorough understanding of the fundamentals of Media Planning, Media Buying, Account Management, and the international agency environment.
  • An ability to interpret comms strategy for the evolving media landscape and present and apply to the client’s business.
  • Experience working with international teams.
  • A level of digital fluency is required to be able to support and help activate digital and data projects across the network.
  • A love of film.


Network of Excellence

  • Ensure the markets are using the best of Group M tools to effect.
  • Exploring new measurement opportunities e.g Live Panel re-contact, mScreen for all screen types 
  • Ensure all markets are using Mediacom tools to improve our planning output
