MediaCom has the global AOR assignment for Uber.  With 30 countries, 200 plus team members, and a unique culture, our service team is growing, and we are looking for a regional senior planner to organise, collaborate, and with agility support our markets to be bold and be active participants in the MediaCom/Uber community.

About the Role

Reporting to the EMEA Client Business Director working on Uber (solely).

The role requires collaboration with many stakeholders across many levels, in a highly matrixed organization.  In this capacity the EMEA Senior Planner must be able to manage and balance many projects across Uber regional and local clients, as well as internal MediaCom teams. The ideal candidate has the ability to build strong relationships and win trust internally and externally.  Uber is a fast-moving, entrepreneurial growth brand and the person in this role must be able to work in an ever-changing, dynamic environment with a passionate, agile mindset.

Key responsibilities -

  • Key day to day client contact for Uber Media team and local markets, with a specific focus on market compliance, regional integration and governance of deliverables.
  • Point-person across all stages of Regional campaign development.
  • Ensure practice experts (Planning/Strategy/Digital) are brought in to sense-check work where relevant.
  • Coordinate local market competitive reports.
  • Drive the production of high-quality deliverables and ensuring financial, operational & campaign development methods are followed.

  • Culturally agile to work with diverse range of skills and backgrounds around the region
