THE TEAM

 

The Global Business Development team is integral to the growth of MediaCom. As such, it is fast paced, challenging and offers people the chance to experience all facets of MediaCom. Integrating with a cross section of divisions and markets and working with people at all levels, means that we have an in-depth knowledge of how we can utilise our expertise in marketing and raise our profile.

 

It is our responsibility to manage the multi-market Business Development process effectively and to market MediaCom to clients and prospects. It is our role to promote MediaCom as the thought leader in the media industry.

It is also incumbent on us to champion New Business excellence through all markets, including for the role those in the EMEA region and make sure that we are proactively feeding the global business development pipeline.

 

We are looking for a Pitch lead who will sit as part of the global Business Development team but with a specific focus on the EMEA region. The candidate must be from a planning or senior client leadership background (with a proven track record in winning business pitches) in a media agency.

 

Reporting into the Global Head of Business Development from a functional perspective, the successful candidate must be a self-starter and able to lead a pitch with confidence. The role is fundamental to the continued success of MediaCom in EMEA so will also sit as part of the regional leadership team and have a duel reporting line into the CEO, EMEA.

 

SUCCESS PROFILE

 

To be successful within the role, you will:

 

          Have a background in senior planning or client leadership roles in a media agency, ideally as part of an international team

          Have experience running or having a key role in multiple New Business pitches including strategy and storytelling

          Possess strong leadership qualities, attention to detail and ability to prioritise completion of multiple deliverables to deadlines

          Be flexible and adaptable as this role requires working across different time zones and travelling to various regional and global locations

          Can motivate a team, be approachable, bring a collaborative attitude and approach to solving problems

          Have excellent attention to detail and strong written communication
