Education and/or Experience 
  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required from an accredited college or university.
  • A Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in investment analysis, financial modeling, or related roles, preferably within private equity, investment banking, family office, or asset management.
  • Coursework or certifications in areas like financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis is ideal.  Familiarity with platforms like Wall Street Prep, Financial Edge, or other recognized financial modeling programs is an advantage.
  • Training in data visualization or proficiency with financial reporting software, such as Power BI, is beneficial.
Qualifications 
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
  • Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and advanced Excel; proficiency in the use of PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in conducting sensitivity and scenario analyses.
  • Ability to distill complex information and make data-driven recommendations in clear and concise ways.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in creating and delivering presentations.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • Direct exposure in investment administration, performance measurement, real estate analysis, and/or family trust administration is beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience with portfolio investment applications
  • Extensive knowledge of investment performance metrics
  • Detailed understanding of marketable security and private equity transaction flow.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain solid working relationships across the organization and externally.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work within designated deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Track and monitor portfolio performance, identifying areas of risk, potential improvements, and strategies to optimize returns; provide regular performance reports and insights to ensure alignment with investment objectives.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive financial models across various asset classes (PE, public equities, real estate, direct investments, etc.).
  • Analyze investment opportunities and prepare clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and performance tracking to evaluate potential returns and risks.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Vice President to refine investment strategies and inform decision-making.
  • Perform due diligence on investment proposals, including market research and financial projections.
  • Review and analyze investment documents, contracts, and legal agreements to identify key terms, risks, and opportunities; provide clear summaries and actionable recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for senior management and board members.
  • Maintain a database of investment portfolios, including transaction flow, market valuation maintenance, and performance reporting workflow.
