Role Overview

MRM Worldwide develops interactive web-based media solutions. The Technical Project Director is ultimately responsible for the successful development of these solutions, working with cross-functional, multi-project resources to ensure solutions are delivered on time. The Technical Project Director plans, schedules and controls all technical project activities toward these objectives, applying technical, theoretical and managerial skills to satisfy project requirements, while building positive professional relationships with clients and associates.


Oversee delivery of technical services for client programs, augment the robustness of project execution, and extend capabilities via novel service proposals. Establish trust via executive stakeholder engagement. Grow technology business & consulting services agenda for the agency.


Applicants must have a solid digital/technical background that will enable them to speak and understand the technical team. S/he should be able to troubleshoot technical and CMS issues, have excellent organizational skills.


Responsibilities

• Analyze MRM operations, design and implement automated workflows, processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs in partnership with the General Manager.
• Partner with the MRM and MRM global technology leaders to assess current systems requirements and future needs and capacity, develop strategic plan for systems infrastructure, build tactical execution plan, and manage implementation to ensure maximum performance, security and reliability
• Monitor tools and processes; report on key metrics related to server and systems monitoring, backups, and utilization, trends, successes, and challenges
• Leadership and management of the MRM publishing and apps team including resource management, hiring, mentorship, and performance management
• Partner with MRM Worldgroup IT team to drive efficiencies within the global MRM network.
• Ensure high quality, accuracy and on-time delivery on all applications projects and production of all automation initiatives
• Improve studio business process, expand capabilities & workflow through technology, and drive incremental production revenues with MRM and the global MRM network
• Assist Head of Integrated Operations and Client Relationships with staffing budgets, raises and profitability
• Work with teams to develop schedules and budgets for new projects
• Partner with the MD, GM and Client Relations, HR department and other global MRM offices to optimize all staffing activities within the production group – open hires, rotation planning, freelance management and vendor management
• Promotion of a culture that celebrates the key pillars of MRM’s offering - Intelligence and Community Network
• Collaborate with other MRM Worldwide offices to optimize profits (offshoring) and talent/capabilities utilization
• Assist on organizational restructuring efforts, casting, forecasting and talent management

• Hands-on development as needed

 Skills Assignment Specific Responsibilities:

• This role will be working on a technical project overseeing the development of CMS
• The successful candidate will have a sense of urgency, attention to detail and the ability to work under very tight/aggressive deadlines while managing multiple projects. S/he should have the curiosity for the big picture while focusing on his/her individual delivery task.Lead Project Kick-off and weekly scrum meetings
• Coordinate and manage project deliverables closely with the Technology Projects, Content Management, SEO, UX and Web teams.
