Description

The McClatchy Company is seeking a Local Digital Sales Consultant to drive digital sales revenue from local & regional accounts, following the Core 4+ Sales Process; understanding client needs (both current & desired) and crafting customized solutions.  Local Digital Sales Consultants understand our solutions and have the ability to effectively show they drive results for our customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prospect for new business utilizing Core 4+ sales process
- Identify growth opportunities from existing customers
- Conduct deep-dive client impact assessments, utilizing pre-call research
- Develop results-based solutions
- Present and close proposals
- Work with Client Success team to ensure client goals/expectations are met
- Utilize Salesforce as a predictive and collaborative tool

Minimum Expectations:
  • Sales Field Time:
  • 20 hours per week
  • Revenue per Account (per period): $1,500k+
  • Average Revenue (per period): $35k+
  • Opportunity Pipeline: 3X Gap to Goal
  • CIAs: 2 per consultant per week
  • Presentations: 2 per consultant per week

Base + uncapped commission + full suite of benefits.
