The Idaho Statesman seeks two enterprising young journalists to serve as paid interns in its award-winning newsroom in Boise, one of the fastest-growing metro areas in America.
At the Idaho Statesman, we put a premium on breaking stories first as well as investing in hard-nosed, accountability journalism that our audience can’t get anywhere else.

In 2022, the Idaho Press Club honored Statesman staffers with the reporter of the year, sports reporter of the year, photographer of the year and rookie of the year awards.
