McCarthy is seeking a qualified and dedicated full-time Small Tool technician to support our construction equipment yard and office team. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple priorities, and have a strong attention to detail. This role is on-site at our Corona, CA location. Work hours will be Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (hours may vary).

Key Responsibilities   
  • Responsible for the receiving, inventorying, distribution, inspection, and maintenance of power tools and small equipment
  • Responsible for maintaining current and accurate tooling inventory in Yard Hub
  • Place and coordinate power tools and small equipment orders and major repairs
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, or other communications
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure our customers are 100% satisfied with the level of service and support they are receiving
  • Maintain relationships with existing tool and equipment suppliers
  • Responsible for cleaning and performing preventative maintenance on small equipment
  • Pull inventory and prepare for delivery
  • Deliver power tools and small equipment to project sites as needed
Qualifications   
  • Must be able to perform basic diagnosis and repair on various types of power tools and concrete equipment including two-stroke engines
  • Be punctual and organized
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment, able to multitask, meet critical deadlines with an eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with all levels of yard/ project staff and organization.
  • Current driver's license with no restrictions

For Southern California locations only, the hourly rate for this position is: $24-$28/hour. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Compensation offered may vary based on work location, experience, qualifications, specialty, training, and market and business considerations, among other factors.
