POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be part of the SW Finance & Accounting team and reports to the Finance Manager. The position primarily focuses on the set up and maintenance of projects in the accounting software. They will also support project teams throughout the life of the project and regional financial needs as identified.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the project set up process in the accounting software (CMIC)
  • Collaborate and assist projects with job cost maintenance.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and reports to help support the region. 
  • Assist in enhancing financial systems, processes, and controls to support the organization’s goal of operational excellence. 
  • Ad hoc special projects and reports as the team identifies needs.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting. 
  • Desire to learn from and work with a high performing department
  • Strong accounting, critical thinking, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Detail oriented individual who takes pride in accuracy
  • Organizational, time management, and teamwork abilities
  • Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and interested in learning new software and systems
  • Desire to learn and increase personal and professional development
