Position Overview
The Analyst, Gross to Net Accounting will provide support for financial accounting, processes and controls related to Mayne Pharma’s Dermatology and Women’s Health business units’ gross to net accounting (copay, chargebacks, rebates, discounts, allowances, returns, government fees).  This role will support the oversight of third-party revenue management and related processes/calculations, as well as preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and accruals.  In addition, the Analyst, Gross to Net Accounting will be expected to support finance-related process improvement initiatives and changes to process / systems / setup.
 
Key Responsibility Areas 
  • Financial Accountability:  Timely and accurate preparation of gross to net reconciliations and accruals.  Monitors related gross to net payments and payment parameters, identifying and researching differences to ensure appropriateness. 
  • Financial Analysis:  Support recurring gross to net rate validation and forecasting processes, and related analysis. 
  • Financial Reporting:  Support creation and maintenance of gross to net monthly financial reporting dashboards.  
  • Financial Controls:  Monitor and ensures Mayne Pharma controls are being adhered to, assist in controls testing and implementation of additional control framework as required.   
 
Specific Responsibilities 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepares GTN balance sheet account reconciliations and related month-end closing accrual entries.  
  • Provides data and analytical support required for periodic GTN rate validation processes.   
  • Supports the creation and maintenance of GTN dashboards. 
  • Supports oversight of third-party revenue management and related processes/calculations. 
  • Supports GTN process automation initiatives.   
  • Monitors GTN control environment to ensure compliance with company policy. 
  • Supports communications with customers regarding GTN payments and related inquiries. 
  • Supports other finance projects as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • Two years of pharmaceutical experience. 
  • Experience with revenue management / GTN deductions, and related analysis 
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.   
  • Experience with QAD (ERP)
