Hi-Tech Metal Finishing is a leading Aerospace metal finishing company in Denton, Texas that provides a dynamic work environment with cutting edge technology. Our company supports the growth and future of the Aerospace industry and is looking to add a 1st shift Anodize and Paint Assistant I position to our team to contribute to our advancement. 

Position Overview:

Responsible for learning Masking & Racking processes of customer parts in accordance to customer specifications and requirements.
General supervision is required.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Masking, unmasking and racking of customer product as required in Paint processes.
  • Responsible for clocking in and out of jobs using the Company’s ERP system.
  • Verify product/part counts.
  • Use measuring equipment to check parts as necessary.
  • Visually inspect jobs and notify supervisor of any issues if necessary.
  • Other duties as required and/or assigned.
  • Ability to read and interpret process specifications, procedures and customer purchase orders.
  • Ability to calculate basic mathematical computations.
  • Ability to solve practical process or procedural problems/issues.
  • Able to maintain required attention to detail.
Education / Licensing Requirements: 
  • • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience Requirements:
  • • 0-6 months experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in a typical processing environment. 
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: walking, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, transporting supplies or equipment, sitting or standing for extended periods of time at a desk using a computer & phone, & occasionally  lifting & carrying items which may weigh up to 25 lbs. & occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Promotion Path:

This position may transition into a Masker – Level 2 or transfer within the company to another position or acquire added responsibilities, based on company growth.

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Non-U.S. persons selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to export-restricted information as defined under the ITAR/EAR.
