Hi-Tech Metal Finishing is a leading Aerospace metal finishing company in Denton, Texas that provides a dynamic work environment with cutting edge technology. Our company supports the growth and future of the Aerospace industry and is looking to add a 2nd shift Painter position to our team to contribute to our advancement.  (Some training days will be required)

Position Overview:
Paint and prime customer parts in accordance to customer specifications and requirements. General supervision is required.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Learn to interrupt planning/processing instructions
• Learn mixing portions of paint. (i.e. thinners, polyurethane)
• Familiarization of paint guns, equipment & tooling.
• Maintain parts free from contamination prior to application.
• Other duties as required and/or assigned.
• Responsible for clocking in and out of jobs using the Company’s ERP system.
• Prep, prime and dry film parts for painting process.
• Other duties as required and/or assigned.

Skills:
• Ability to read and interpret process specifications, procedures and customer orders.
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical computations.

Education / Licensing Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.


Experience Requirements:
• 3-6 months of experience preferred.

Working Conditions:
• Work is performed in a typical processing environment.
• Use and maintain appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: walking, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, transporting supplies or equipment, sitting or standing for extended periods of time & occasionally lifting & carrying items which may weigh up to 25 lbs. & occasionally up to 50 lbs.
