You’ll own key areas of DOT compliance, from Hours of Service and driver qualifications to roadside inspections and regulatory documentation, while partnering with drivers and transportation leaders across the organization. Why this role matters
This role provides dedicated ownership of transportation compliance, helping Maverik stay ahead of regulatory requirements and keep our drivers and operations on track. Your work will also allow our Safety Managers to spend more time where they have the greatest impact—supporting and coaching drivers in the field.
Location/Schedule

This role is based at our Woods Cross, UT office and is a full-time, in-office position, working Monday through Friday with a standard 8-hour workday.
What You’ll do in this Role
- Conduct monthly compliance audits, maintain required records, and ensure documentation is maintained per guidelines
- Ensure compliance with state and federal transportation regulations, including HOS, DOT drug/alcohol policies, hazmat, and security requirements
- Track, analyze, and report on CSA BASIC scores, speed violations, and roadside inspections; oversee the Data Q submission process
- Develop tools, scorecards, and visualizations to analyze compliance and safety data. Use analysis and insights to drive improvements for fleet safety and compliance within the organization
- Review and approve MVRs and safety records for driver candidates before hire
- Manage driver coaching, including HOS compliance, and escalation procedures
- Support accident investigations, incident reviews, and compliance audits
- Collaborate with operations and leadership to enhance safety initiatives and regulatory adherence

You’ll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:
- 1+ yrs. years of transportation experience working with safety and regulatory compliance required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Department of Transportation, and Compliance Safety Accountability (CSA) program
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office suite ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)

Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $80,000-$90,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
