Join Maverik as a Truck Mechanic. You'll repair, recondition, and maintain company equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle systems, and ensure safe, reliable fleet performance. You'll work closely with the Shop Manager, Team Leads, and Drivers to communicate repair needs and updates.

As a Truck Mechanic, you keep that fleet safe and road-ready, directly protecting uptime, driver safety, and the reliability our stores and customers count on every day.
Location/Schedule
This is a shop-based position in Woods Cross, UT. The schedule is a swing shift, Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.
What You’ll do in this Role
- Complete timely & accurate service and inspection reports
- Charge work appropriately to work orders
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Test, measure, and adjust vehicle systems
- Stay up to date on tools, technology, and safety practices
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate repair status clearly to leadership and drivers
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Lift/carry up to 100 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing
- Repetitive reaching, grasping, squatting, and pushing
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Visual abilities: close, distance, color, and depth perception
- Use appropriate PPE and follow safety standards

You’ll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:
- 3+ years in heavy equipment or preventative maintenance repair
- Strong safety knowledge and attention to detail
- Basic computer and reporting skills
- Effective verbal and written communication in English
Bonus points if you also bring:
- Tractor/trailer repair experience
- Welding experience
- Tank testing experience
- Tanker experience and CDL preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $25.00–$39.00/hr. DOE + Quarterly Bonus
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
