CDL Fuel Transport Driver – Las Vegas

Location: Las Vegas
Pay: $100K–$120K annually
Shift: Long term PM Shift 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Days Off: Rotating 5 Days On/2 Days Off, then 5 Days On/3 Days Off

Training: Training may last up to 30 days and is typically conducted on the day shift. After successfully completing training, you will transition to the PM shift.

Qualifications

• License & Endorsements: Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required (Doubles/Triples preferred)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience
• Transmission: Must have recent experience operating a manual transmission
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old
• Safety Record: Clean driving record (MVR) with a strong commitment to safety
• Screenings: Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, background check, and road test in a 13-18 speed manual transmission truck

What to Expect

• Schedule: PM Shift (start times between 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM) on a rotating 5/2, 5/3 schedule throughout the year. Please note: This is a long-term PM shift.
• Shift Duration: Shifts average 10–12 hours (occasional longer days based on weather, traffic and operations)
• Equipment: Understanding of Samsara and slip/shared truck seating (required); modern, well-maintained manual trucks
• Environment: Year-round 24/7 operation includes weekend, holiday, and all-weather driving (including winter conditions and chaining when necessary)

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport fuel
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
• Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
• Maintain close communication with dispatch while keeping safety top priority

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors repetitively throughout a shift: standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally, and grasping firmly
• Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors frequently throughout a shift: reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the waist, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing
• Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 75-100 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions
