As a Civil Designer, you’ll help shape new and existing Maverik locations, turning plans into buildable designs that support our continued growth. You’ll work alongside a collaborative Store Development team while taking ownership of meaningful design work from concept toward construction

Location/Schedule
This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters and follows a hybrid schedule with four days in-office and one remote day each week.
What You’ll do in this Role
- Produce detailed construction documents (including but not limited to: site plans, grading & drainage plans, utility plans, plan & profile plans, erosion control plans, etc.) for new and existing Maverik C-store locations using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Assist in producing drainage reports.
- Produce vehicle turning exhibits using AutoCAD Vehicle Tracking.
- Assist in the maintenance and creation of Maverik design standards. This includes modifying and creating AutoCAD blocks and drawings.
- Provide due diligence support for development of new and altering existing Maverik C-Store locations.
- Conduct occasional site visits to check on project status and provide in-field support as necessary
- Ability to assist with the coordination between cross-discipline team members to ensure cohesive construction plans.

You’ll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:
- Associate/Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
- 2+ years of civil Design experience Required
Bonus points if you also bring:
- Commercial design experience
- EIT
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range:$80,000-$90,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
