The Software Trainer educates, engages, and empowers clients to successfully adopt our software and create a successful client experience. To be most successful in this role, the ideal candidate needs to have experience developing and delivering training content for high-technology software products and solutions, be enthusiastic, confident, open to learning, and be able to communicate complex product knowledge in an easily understandable way for clients to consume and retain. It is crucial for the candidate to be able to fully understand our product to explain the precise functions of our product clearly. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional, team-oriented self-starter individual who desires to educate and share knowledge through training clients of our product at all levels. The SoftwareTrainer is responsible for helping clients ramp up and maintain their product knowledge to drive ongoing product adoption and will work closely with other members of the services team to provide best-in-class education to clients. The ideal candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate a high degree of initiative, have a passion for technology, and possess an entrepreneurial drive.
Customer product training
Works alongside clients as well as Mavenlink Professional Services delivery team members and Client Success team members to deliver client-facing custom training including virtual training delivery, on-site training delivery, classroom delivery (1 to many), as well as webinars. Understands the client’s desired education outcomes, develops an agenda with relevant content and delivers high-quality, custom product training that achieves their desired outcomes to support their Mavenlink implementation and drive ongoing Mavenlink product adoption.
eLearning instructional content design and curriculum development
Devotes time to learning the evolving product features to apply that information in the development of high-quality education. Works alongside other Mavens to create and maintain eLearning content as well as eLearning content structure leveraging authoring tools as well as Mavenlink’s Learning Management System. Spends time working closely with the Product, Client Success, Professional Services, Marketing, Sales teams as well as Client’s directly to understand what types of content and learning is needed by Mavenlink’s student base, validating with key stakeholders, and developing new content. Additionally, the Software Trainer maintains a close awareness of the Mavenlink product and works alongside team members to update current content accordingly.
- 5-7 years of software training
- Curriculum development experience is required
- Live training delivery experience is required
- Learning management system (LMS) experience is preferred
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to change in a fast-paced, mid-stage start-up company environment
