About the Opportunity 

The Vice President of Strategic Finance will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy and growth initiatives of  our Company.  Reporting directly to the CFO, this position requires an experienced leader with a proven track record in  strategic financial thinking, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, managing external Private Equity relationships, and legal management within a leveraged environment.  Further, the VP of Strategic Finance position requires strong leadership, financial acumen, strategic thinking, and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the rest of the Finance team to develop comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and analyses to support strategic decision-making and business planning including partnering with executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic plan
  • Support the business in its M&A processes by assisting in deal sourcing, conducting due diligence, and participating in valuation exercises.
  • Drive corporate structuring initiatives to optimize the organization's capital structure, tax efficiency, and overall financial flexibility.
  • Contribute to identifying strategic acquisition targets that align with our growth objectives and market positioning.
  • Act as one of the primary Finance liaison with our private equity sponsors, investors, and other financial partners.
  • Oversee the Legal function including managing external legal counsel and advisors to ensure effective support for corporate development activities and other ongoing legal matters.
  • Manage the company's insurers, insurance policies, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance with regulatory requirements along with cultivating and growing relationships with insurance providers and brokers.
What You Bring to this Role 
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in finance leadership, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or related field
  • Proven track record of successfully executing mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships
  • Strong financial analysis, reporting, and planning skills.
  • Experience with SaaS financial metrics

Compensation 

  • The base salary range for this position is USD $180,000 – USD $264,000.
  • This position is eligible to participate in a Company Wide Bonus Plan
