The Opportunity
As an Account Development Representative (ADR) supporting the Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the expansion and retention of client accounts by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships. You will work closely with the Account Manager to develop strategies for account growth and execute plans to meet and exceed sales targets. The role requires a proactive approach to prospecting, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the company's products/services and industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    • Identify potential new upsells and expansions through research, networking, and cold outreach.
    • Qualify leads to ensure alignment with the company's target market and objectives.
    • Schedule meetings with qualified prospects who have a CBI for the Account Manager position.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Support the Account Manager in maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
    • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to understand their evolving needs and challenges.
    • Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing upsell and expansion opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Sales Support:
    • Partner and Collaborate with the Account Manager to develop customized solutions and proposals for clients.
    • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, contracts, and other documentation.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Stay updated on customer news, industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments.
    • Analyze data to identify opportunities for business expansion, upsell,  and optimization.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to the Account Manager based on market research findings and customer updates/news.
    • Have insight into our customers’ business and know their operating procedures for PS.  
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting:
    • Monitor sales metrics and performance indicators to track progress towards goals.
    • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and opportunity forecasts.
    • Participate in sales meetings and reviews to discuss strategies, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of the industry and understanding of client needs and pain points.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Compensation
  • The base salary for this position is $60,000 USD.
  • This position is eligible to participate in a Sales Incentive/Commission Plan.
Additional Information
  • This role is a remote role within the US.
  • The employee will be working across multiple continental US time zones, primarily focusing on the West Coast and/or East Coast. Ability to work in EST or PST will be preferred.
