What we offer

This role offers the opportunity to help shape the digital backbone of an advanced manufacturing start-up, with a particular focus on scalability and efficiency. The Applications Product Owner will have full ownership of ERP (Odoo) system performance, leading multiple workstreams independently and incorporating input from software development, systems integration, and operations. This is a hands-on, build-and-lead role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, partners closely with operations, and enjoys turning complex requirements into secure, scalable ERP solutions that power the future of manufacturing. The ideal candidate has robust experience scoping ERP requirements with an established PMO methodology in a manufacturing context.

What you’ll do

• Own the day-to-day performance and stability of Odoo (ERP) and related business applications supporting Cabinets manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot operational performance issues within business applications, diagnosing root cause and coordinating fixes with the Technology team and integrators.
• Analyze back-end ERP and application data to identify data flow and data accuracy issues and recommend improvements.
• Act as the primary liaison between Cabinets manufacturing operations and the Technology team, prioritizing and managing a backlog of fixes, issues and enhancement requests.
• Partner with shop floor and production staff to gather requirements, document pain points, and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
• Monitor key operational and system-performance metrics, proactively identifying recurring or emerging issues before they impact operations.
• Support testing and validation of fixes, configuration changes, and enhancements prior to deployment in production.
• Communicate the status of open issues, fixes and enhancements clearly to stakeholders across manufacturing operations and technology.
• Maintain documentation of known issues, data flows, and application processes for the Cabinets application landscape.
• Provide guidance and training to floor staff on proper system usage to reduce recurring data-quality issues.
• Support application related documentation as it applies to relevant operational processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field or equivalent working experience
• 5+ years supporting, administering, or implementing ERP systems (Odoo experience strongly preferred) in a manufacturing environment
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for operational and business application issues
• Comfortable working with back-end data to investigate data flow and accuracy issues and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Experience acting as a product owner, business analyst, or similar liaison role between operations stakeholders and technical teams
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical, shop-floor audiences
• Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to create and maintain strong working relationships across the enterprise
• Comfortable spending time on the shop floor to observe and understand cabinet manufacturing workflows first-hand
• Willingness to multi-task and be flexible to take on varied responsibilities
• Pragmatic outlook with the ability to right-size effort

Bonus Points

• Hands-on experience with Odoo specifically (implementation, configuration, or support) or other manufacturing related applications
• Familiarity with data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) to support data-driven recommendations
• Experience working with backlog or ticketing tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $130,000. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional situations may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply.
