What We Offer

Reporting to the IT Site Services Manager, the IT Support Specialist (ITSS) will be responsible for supporting and ensuring delivery of IT services to the GTA Urban Business of Mattamy Homes Canada so that end users can accomplish business tasks, while striving to achieve the company mission the Best Homeowner Experience, in all activities undertaken.

 

This is an exciting role that will work with Mattamy’s new GTA Urban Division. The division includes the company’s current collection of high-rise projects and all multi-family developments within its master-planned communities in the Greater Toronto market. GTA Urban has aggressive growth targets for both the 416 and 905 regions of the GTA is led by a dedicated, experienced team focused on both growing Mattamy’s urban footprint and implementing innovative community design. The ITSS for Urban will be the dedicated IT service expert on hand to support day to day on-site and end user support services for the Urban team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exemplary on-site end-user support and service in all situations.
  • Triage issues and service requests via phone, e-mail or service desk ticketing system.
  • Ensure best practices and process are enhanced and maintained.
  • Coordinate Field Service Partners in scheduling delivery and infrastructure deployment.
  • Troubleshoot various hardware, including but not limited to, Telephony, conference room equipment, desktop computers, laptops and printers.
  • Provide a prompt response to user requests for information and assist in application system problem resolution.
  • Keep the end-user informed of progress and advise on workarounds.
  • Log all incoming calls in an Incident Management tool and resolve and/or escalate calls as required.
  • Develop and maintain support knowledge base containing troubleshooting approaches, methods and fixes as observed in Incident and Problem Management.
  • Collaborate with IT Service Delivery Leads for activities such as incident management, problem management and root cause analysis and to resolve after-hours incidents.
  • Proactively build relationships and awareness of the upcoming remote office activities with key stakeholders from the different divisions.
  • Maintain asset inventory.
  • Travel as needed to remote office locations to set-up equipment, upgrade hardware/software, troubleshoot, problem-solve, and assist with office moves.
     

What You Bring

Need to Have

  • College diploma or university degree in Business or Information Systems required
  • Must have a minimum 3 years of related work experience
  • Exemplary customer service experience working as a dedicated IT resource
  • Ability to work and support a fast changing and evolving business
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Suite (SharePoint, Office 365, OneDrive, MS Teams)
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Windows AutoPilot and Apple DEP
  • Experience managing corporate desktop environments for patching, antivirus, application deployment.
  • Familiarity with conference room audio/visual systems
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Strong team player and collaborator with agility and flexibility to adapt to fluctuating circumstances
  • Deep knowledge of Wide Area Network and LAN technologies that can be used to connect site\trailers\offices.
  • Customer and Vendor relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and be able to travel within the Greater Toronto Area

Nice to Have

  • ITIL Foundations Certification
  • Knowledge and/or experience with JD Edwards
