What we offer
In keeping with the Mattamy mission of providing The Best Homeowner Experience, you will provide timely cost analysis for multiple communities, house closing entries and financial analysis.
What you’ll do
- Loading model line-ups and lot fit exceptions as new phases are released.
- Audit bids entered into JDE by the purchasing team for accuracy and consistency. Providing feedback on missing or incorrect entries. Ensure extraneous, wrong or duplicated entries are identified, removed and/or corrected.
- Adheres to division-wide requirements for purchasing and production information required for entry into JDE, acts as the key gatekeeper ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence.
- Complete lot job reviews to ensure purchase orders match Home Change Orders and Lot Specific drawings.
- Issuance of purchase orders following the control sheet.
- Facilitation of late changes as requested by the sales or design teams.
- Issuance of purchase orders related to any take-off related revisions.
- Review of all lot tie outs as requested by finance.
- Investigation of any missing or incorrect purchase orders as identified by the construction team or our trade partners.
- Aid in the resolution of invoice problems as identified by our trade partners.
What You Bring
- 1-2 years of residential estimating experience
- Previous experience in an administrative role, with a heavy inclination towards working with numbers and spreadsheets.
- Advanced MS Office skills in Excel (particularly formulas, pivot tables & Macros), Word (i.e. mail merge) and Outlook, with above-average speed.
- Experience working in the JD Edwards system knowledge is a definite asset.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in understanding/resolving problems.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in inputting and checking data.
- Strong work ethic with ability to work independently, be flexible, prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Extremely well-organized with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Be open minded and a forward thinker with a desire to learn and take on new opportunities.
- An educational background in Administration, Estimating, Purchasing or Computer Applications would be considered an asset.
